To take charge of the day-to-day operations and responsible for the effective delivery of basic veterinary services. The office heads the frontline of veterinary-related activities such as in the outbreak of highly contagious and deadly animal diseases with economic and public health importance and in situations resulting in the depletion of animals for work and human consumption particularly arising from and in the aftermath of man-made and natural calamities
Vision
An agency of the Provincial Government responsive to the provision of basic veterinary services; facilitate measures to prevent and eradicate possible outbreak of communicable diseases in livestock and poultry that is hazardous to both humans and animals and will serve as catalyst for the development and growth of the livestock industry thereby sustaining the meat and by-product requirements of every Novo Ecijano
Mission
To enhance the potential of livestock industry of the province utilizing new technology and breakthroughs. Upgrade and improve breeds of large and small animals. Promulgate and implement policies, rules and regulations governing the livestock and poultry commodities safe for human consumption. Develop programs and projects that will contribute to sustaining the continuous growth and active participation of the livestock industry as a contributory factor in the economic progress of the province as a whole
