OBJECTIVES:
- The provincial Legal Office is the legal officer and adviser of the Province, 27 Municipalities, 5 Cities and 849 Barangays
- within the Province; it provides and performs the following duties:
- Legal assistance and investigation work;
- Render opinions on resolutions, ordinances and queries passed by the different municipalities within the Province of Nueva Ecija;
- Represent the Province in civil cases before the Courts;
- Appear in all cases before any court of justice, administrative bodies in the defense of any case brought to the office;
- Prosecute tax collection cases for delinquent taxpayers within the province;
- Provide legal counsel and advice to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan
- Provide other essential services.
