The PhilRice Rice Science Museum is a 320-square-meter building that is located in Science City of Munoz. It has been accredited by the Department of Tourism as a tourist facility and as a Local Government Unit-licensed tourist establishement. The purpose of the Museum is to promote the history, culture, science and technology of rice in the Philippines.

Moreover, PhilRice features the rice paddy art, created by the artistic staffs of Future Rice Farm, which started in 2015 as a novel way of merging art into agriculture as a means of encouraging the young Filipinos to venture into agriculture.


Nueva Ecija has always been known as the Rice Granary of the Philippines. Famous for its vast plains of rice fields, people often overlook what else the land has to offer. Unbeknownst toFilipinos aside from those who live in the region, the provinceboasts of grand mountains and rivers, and exotic flora and fauna, along with a rich culture of Catholic, and military history.To top it all off, Nueva Ecija also has an excellent culinary scene that pushes the norms with the likes of carabao milk,and tilapia ice cream.
